ST. THOMAS College Magazine was in news today (03 Sep 2008) It is stated that the Magazine is "A" rated and has adult contents. Also abuses for the College Management. Well done boys!!
I studied there in year 1984 and the college then used to be like any other colleges in those period. Ofcourse there was politics. But there was no girls in the campus. Now I see girls and boys (OOPS.. Men and Women. They are adults now) walking hand in hand, peeping through the windows, peeking through the Mobiles, as Malayala Manorama put it through their BLUE TRUTH report, Politics played by the students and co-ordinated by the elders or old students. Why the Co-education allowed only in ST. THOMAS ? Why not in St. Mary's or Vimala College ? Why is still Politics inside the campus ? All these new happenings are due to the bad management.

NEW HORLICKS CAMPAIGN

The new Horlicks advt. ASKING FOR A SIZE CHANGE for kids with the kids making a "premature" statement.
Badlo apne bachpan ka size..!!!
The advt. is very disturbing and the Tagline is off the limits. I am a father of two young kids and I don't think the message will bring in any positive results. The kids of India are already growing at an all time high in terms of height, weight and "everything else" and I mean that including the size of their under wears. They now need bigger sizes, thanks to Horlicks and other steroid injected food material they are getting to eat.
Mr. Prashant Pandey is trying to justify the advt. But the kids seeing and hearing these kind of inspiring Tag lines will try to become more aggressive and the result will be a bigger and better size that will lead to more number of eve teasing, rapes and street brawls. Then the society will cry out loud against the crime committed to the kids, youth etc. etc.
What is the Advt. watchdog ASCI doing ? Ban this advt. right away.

The Flatbed Truck Billboard is being kicked out of the Metros. So are the regular Flex hoardings. Decorating a Bus Shelter is no big deal. Screenery is yet to show some real stuff.

May Flower

The Photo of this Tree fully laden with May flowers was taken last May in Thope stadium on the Road side. Now all that remains there is a mighty trunk and the Tree was put to axe by the "developers". Another Tree stands next listening for the footsteps of the axe men.

It was a real feast for the eyes of the passers by who travels on the Thrissur - Kuttanellore Road. A lot of shade for the people nearby and the users of the stadium.
